Support

Crew Sheet is built and supported by one person. Email reaches a human — usually within a couple of days, and faster if a wedding is imminent.

Reporting a bug? Two things that help enormously

Tell us what you expected to happen and what happened instead, and include your iOS and watchOS versions (iOS Settings → General → About). A screenshot beats a description of a screenshot.

Common questions

My Watch isn't showing the right cue.

The Watch app and the iPhone app talk to each other while both are reachable. Check that the Watch is on your wrist and unlocked, that Bluetooth is on, and that the two devices are in range. Open the Crew Sheet app on the Watch once — that prompts a fresh sync. If the two still disagree, open the event on iPhone, then reopen the Watch app so it picks up the current state.

The complication on my watch face is out of date.

watchOS decides how often complications may refresh, and it budgets that allowance across every complication on your face. The fastest way to force a refresh is to open the Crew Sheet Watch app. If the complication is consistently stale, keeping Crew Sheet in the Watch's Dock helps watchOS prioritise it.

How do I import a timeline I built in Google Calendar?

Add the Google (or Outlook) account to iOS in Settings → Calendar → Accounts, so its events appear in the iOS Calendar app. Then in Crew Sheet, start an import and pick that calendar. You will see the full list of events before anything is saved, and you confirm which become cues. If a planner sent you the timeline as an .ics file instead, Crew Sheet can import that directly — no account setup needed.

Import is one-way. Crew Sheet reads your calendars and never writes to them, so nothing it does can disturb a schedule you share with a couple or a venue.

I paid for Pro but the app is showing limits again.

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. The purchase is tied to the Apple Account that bought it, so make sure the device is signed in to that account. Restoring works on any device signed in to it, at no extra cost. If the restore does not take, email us with the App Store receipt and we will sort it out.

Is Crew Sheet a subscription?

No. Crew Sheet Pro is a single $14.99 purchase and there is no recurring charge, no renewal, and nothing to cancel. The free tier is capped at one event, ten cues and five checklist items per cue, and is not time-limited.

Where is my data, and can you see it?

On your device, and in your own private iCloud database if you are signed in to iCloud. There is no Crew Sheet server and no account, so we cannot see your events — not even if you asked us to. The privacy policy sets this out in full.

Will my timeline sync to my second shooter's phone?

Not in this version. iCloud sync keeps your own devices in step — iPhone and Watch — but Crew Sheet has no shared or multi-user events. To get the run-of-show to the rest of the crew, export the PDF crew sheet and send it.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Delete All Data erases every event, cue, checklist and collaborator, along with the summary shared with the widget and the Watch. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app removes its local data too, but run the in-app delete first if you also want the iCloud copy gone.

Do you have an Android or web version?

No, and there is no plan for one. Crew Sheet exists because of what the Apple Watch can do on a wrist during a ceremony; the same app without that is a worse product.

Accessibility

Crew Sheet is built to work with VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, every cue phase is named as well as colour-coded, and controls are sized to Apple's 44-point minimum touch target.

If you hit something that does not work with the assistive technology you rely on, please tell us — that is a bug, and it will be treated as one. Email crewsheet@xymex.app.

Still stuck?

Email crewsheet@xymex.app. There is no ticket system, no bot, and no queue position — just a person reading it.
