Privacy Policy

The short version

Crew Sheet has no user accounts and no servers of ours. Your events, cues, checklists and collaborators are stored on your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — synced through your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read. We collect no analytics, use no tracking, and embed no third-party SDKs.

What Crew Sheet stores, and where

Crew Sheet stores the content you create in the app:

• Events — name, date, venue or location text.
• Cues — title, time offset, colour tag, notes, reminder lead time, and whether the cue is checked off.
• Checklist items inside a cue.
• Collaborators you add — name, role, and any phone number or email you enter for them.
• App settings, including whether Wedding Mode is active.

That data lives in two places, both of them yours:

• On your device, in the app's own local database.
• In your private iCloud database, if you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled for Crew Sheet. This is Apple's CloudKit private database, tied to your Apple Account. It is the same mechanism Apple's own apps use. Xymex has no access to it — we cannot query it, export it, or see that it exists.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, Crew Sheet works exactly the same way, and nothing leaves the device.

Data shared between the app, the Watch app and the widget

So the widget and the Watch face can show the next cue without launching the full app, Crew Sheet writes a small summary — the event name, the next cue's title, its time, its colour, its location text, and a done/total count — into a shared container on your device (an App Group). It never leaves your devices.

About collaborators' details

If you add a second shooter's phone number or a florist's email to an event, you are entering another person's personal data. Crew Sheet stores it the same way it stores everything else — on your device and in your private iCloud — and never transmits it to us. It appears on the PDF crew sheet you generate, so take the same care sharing that PDF as you would with any document containing a colleague's contact details.

Permissions Crew Sheet may ask for

Calendar — optional, read-only

If you choose to import a timeline you already built, Crew Sheet asks for calendar access so it can read events from the calendars on your device (including Apple, iCloud, Google and Outlook accounts you have added to iOS). It reads them to show you a list you can turn into cues, and you confirm before anything is saved.

Crew Sheet does not write to your calendars, does not modify or delete calendar events, and does not upload calendar contents anywhere. Declining calendar access disables importing and affects nothing else.

Notifications — optional

If you enable cue reminders, Crew Sheet asks permission to send notifications. These are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. There is no push server, and we never send you a message.

What Crew Sheet does not do

• No account, sign-up, login or email capture.
• No analytics or telemetry of any kind — no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Sentry, no crash-reporting SDK.
• No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency permission because there is nothing to track.
• No third-party SDKs at all. The app is built entirely on Apple frameworks.
• No selling or sharing of personal information — there is nothing to sell and no one to share it with.
• No location tracking. A venue is a piece of text you type; the app does not read your GPS position.
• No microphone, camera, contacts, photos or health data access.

Crew Sheet's privacy manifest declares zero collected data types. It declares two Apple "required reason" APIs — reading and writing the app's own preferences, and file timestamps used by the local database — both for the app's own internal function.

Purchases

Crew Sheet Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address; Apple tells the app only whether this Apple Account owns the purchase. That answer is cached on your device so the app works offline. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Crew Sheet is a professional tool for wedding vendors and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR (EU/EEA and UK) and the CCPA (California) give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. Because Crew Sheet holds your data on your own devices and in your own iCloud, you exercise most of these directly, without asking us:

• Access and portability — everything is visible in the app, and the PDF export produces a copy of an event you can keep or send.
• Correction — edit anything in the app.
• Deletion — delete an individual event, or use Settings → Delete All Data to erase everything Crew Sheet has stored, including the shared widget and Watch summary. Deleting the app also removes its local data; to clear the iCloud copy, use the in-app delete first, or remove Crew Sheet's data from iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud.
• Objection and restriction — there is no processing by us to object to.

If you have a question we can actually answer, or you want to complain about how this app handles data, email crewsheet@xymex.app. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Data controller

Crew Sheet is published by Ioan-Cristian Vezure, trading as Xymex, in Romania. For the small amount of processing that exists — essentially, an email you choose to send us — that entity is the data controller. Contact: crewsheet@xymex.app.

Apple Inc. acts as an independent controller for iCloud sync and App Store purchases, under Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no contract with Apple that gives us access to your content.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affects how your data is handled will also be described in the app's App Store release notes, so it reaches you rather than waiting to be discovered on this page.
